I didnt hero Bseter (Duergar thief) but I think I was in the forties. Fwiw, with duergar locksmith edge and pickless lockpicking edge, after getting adv pick lock, I never had to use a pick and never failed. I still couldnt open things like the chest in Akan king's chamber, but the locks I could pick, I simply never failed picking with my knife. Just dont go thinking you can open locks you couldnt before, to me, you just were perfect at opening locks that you always could but failed sometimes.
