The healers I don't understand, I played a healer and if 'co rejuv' isn't cutting it - you probably shouldn't be tanking. A healer having a hummingbird/etched is a waste of gear.

Paladins have serious mana issues. Hummingbirds rock for helping solve that.

Shamans are undoubtedly the best choice for self-healing eq. Their mend wounds is sucky, unusuable in high pressured situations but they have a ton of inherent damage reduction in the form of sanc+protection. That means it won't slow the healing they recieve, and it'll have a much greater affect long term.

I'd argue it's far less effective on all other classes. Unless you can tank well, and don't use wands (most warriors do fit here), then it's wasted on you really. Get +50hp or more svs on your next slot instead. I can understand why you might want the pendant - it's shiny, and some healing is better than no healing right? But it's just not going to be effective on you. That's what I'd term hoarding.
