It's the fact I get riled up in the back and forth crap throwing even though I know I really shouldn't. It's a personal problem I've figured out that I just let things get to me more than I should and usually when it starts to get to that point again, I step away for awhile. People like Quas/Scrimbul/Rogue get under my skin, mostly since they constantly act superior and despite the 100+ people who read/like my FAQs or characters, it's only the trolls that usually reply - which is probably best since most don't want to feed the trolls. So I feel the need to get involved and "defend" myself....which gets nowhere.

Either way for a history lesson, long ago (I'm talking 8-9+ years) I got into a forum fight with Sebeok and Cyradia over the fact that trap thieves didn't work (first trap thief ever - and when I say didn't work, I mean it did nothing and could even crash the mud). I brought it up in-character to Cyradia and she removed my tattoo and killed me in her shrine with a pack of wolves (so exp penalty) and full-sacced me - yes, an Immortal did it and I deleted (she wrote neo-thieves mostly). Now, if you ever read Sebeok's posts, Sebeok is a raging emotional dude as well... do a quick search and you'll notice he loves to instigate and get nasty - especially defending Cyradia. Around the time I also just left my house under bad pretenses (duked it out with my dad). Without getting into finer details, in the goodbye thread forum fight Sebeok struck a real personal nerve by aiming at a recent medical condition that nearly killed me (if I eat melons, I die - angioedema anaphylactic allergic reaction) and I lashed out. Being a 17-18 emotional teenager, I released a prep list and a log of a trip through the first four circles through the Inferno in an aim to "get back". I got banned, then when they found me later, they banned me again....it continued for about a year or so with some small occurrences when I would get rebanned. I was named TLB by Nepenthe (That Little Bitch) - Arolin later on did the same thing when he raged out. Eventually I took stock of it all and played quietly for a long time and they stopped banning me.

Since then I've graduated high school and college, got married, got a kickass job as a stay-at-home FLEX programmer, have a one year old son with another on the way....and to this day that name gets brought up randomly like Hitler. So when people ask "are you Aether" and start a witch hunt all over again to ban me for something that happened nearly a decade ago, I say no....because Aether died long ago.
