If 45% dam redux vs. physical attacks plus the ability to kill ragers with mediocre gear and an enlarge prep at 35 isn't enough for you with wild fam and talismans being the easiest thing in the world and purchaseable haste talismans at 45 with shield and aura talismans floating around between 36 and 45, I dunno what to tell you.
The build seals kills and will get more kills than any other ranger. A nice derivative if you don't like savage is beastmaster or human/arial (especially with harbinger of talismanic doom giving you 1 round lag talismans) and a human/arial race opens up the option of using explorer which when coupled with herbalist edges is hilariously awesome: let someone drop all your stats, flee, tendwounds, herbs, and then come back and kick the shit out of them. Mountaineer or forester are both interchangeable.
But the retarded ass complaint noobs give is 'permalagging people is boring'
Enjoy losing your kills or getting your ass beat playing just about any other build. At least that one can loot.
Bearcharge is boring. Pfffft. It's like having the god damn greeting legacy on a non-warrior. In many cases the failure of creep is not even a big deal considering once you get started no one is escaping you without ganging.
Where the fights get interesting is when you can't bearcharge them to death, i.e. giants who you need to reduce, people with greeting, dagger specs, etc. Those are the fights that really teach you to use ambush, waylay, snare, ambush disarm, other talismans, warpaint, smear mud, entangle etc.
Works great for toasting two-hander paladins too once you get past the inevitable counterstrike move they will get as part of their virtue set. (hint: entangle and prot vs. metal goes a long way toward partly breaking even on that wrath vuln)
If you need to dispel someone's enlarge or other preps, dove talisman. You'll occasionally kill a couple shifters that way too, who, without control trans, would ordinarily die an embarrassing death to you even with full A/B/S up.
