Both were outlanders... Wood-elf did seem to have a bit more punch when it came to certain supps (sunray, thorn, call lightning)... But a human could get the same strength with the right herbs, but not as often... Wood-elfs big perk was the regen combined with unbound spirit (my wood-elf druid was pre edges)... with unbound spirit as a wood elf, 1200 mana could easily be regened in 2 ticks, sometimes one... Never really noticed hp regen because my herbal medicine was so damn strong as well...
Pk wise with Lylesse, I tried to use the druid forms alot, and got quite a bit of mileage... as Did Quird when he was about ( I raided along side of him alot).. He was actually the inspiration for me to roll another druid and try out some edges...
So my thought is pretty much human, wood-elf, or cloud can be a viable option no matter what.. especially given edges, cabal power, leader power options...
Also.. as I think someone else mentioned, being able to gather six herbs is cool , but it is not easy to get 6 of any one herb... even with the right moon there is bound to be a utility herb or two thrown in more often then not.
but play one, druids are fun.
