I agree, showing people around a little and giving them help / hints is fine.

Before it closed though, I saw there were a handful of people who were basically giving walk-through tours of ST for whatever reason, probably just to show off and look smart.

I've gotten help with ST OOC as well, but it's always been in the form of hints and "Once you learn X, I'll tell you something about Y.". Even that, while not kosher with Nep, is much better than simply taking random people into ST and telling them as much as one can about ST as quickly as possible just so they think you're all that and a bag of veteran chips.
