I had another AP, a Scarab at that which I'm basically known for playing. I also was taking groups of people exploring, including the Inferno multiple times and that's kind of my m.o. lately. The 95% of the other time we never hung out together because of crap around Rawvos/Kruizinel and didn't want to pvp together considering I had an ehren edge Scarab who doesn't really have "friends" - but Sacer said it was fine to take people exploring, especially the Inferno. Mixed messages really. It took Sam and Kanye and others not that much to figure out who I was and start pm'ing me about it.

That and Crafted basically started bragging to people on IM about robbing one of us in-game which started a bunch of shit between Tim and him....which I'm assuming started the cries to the Immortals about us.
