The difference between 75% and 95% in a skill is huge, and the practice time isn't that long for an individual skill to get it that high. I'm not talking about perfecting any skills here, just getting them up to a reliable point. The only ones I really bother to perfect are the ones that I rarely use, but are important... For example word/teleport with a mage.
