With the diminished playerbase being what it is, I could see it being very possible that people would "perma" simply by virtue of coinciding play-times AND coinciding ethos/alignment/cabal aspirations. If it were a perma of THREE people constantly together, then I would call it out, but then again I'm guessing Rayihn (or other Immortals) can see IP addresses or see people who don't even speak ingame when making decisions (meaning they're quite obviously sitting next to one another) and could draw the conclusion from either or both of those criteria.

Example:
Log into CF
("There are currently 22 players online.")

8 level 51s
4 level 40+
6 level 30-40
4 level 1-29

or something like, with a FEW more at an appropriate level to group with. Then the challenge becomes:
<100%h 100%m 100%mv> who group

(PK) Village Applicant
(PK) "No thanks, I wish to train slowly."
(PK) Future Outlander perma'ing with Ranger
(PK) Ranger
(PK) That one guy I ranked with last night *ding ding ding*!!!
Non-PK: Non-tank class six levels lower
Non-PK: Higher level but RP'ing sphere Sloth, rather shoot myself in the face than rank with him.

But again, as I said, the Imm staff know their biz. I would guess at overwhelming synchronicity with a severe lack of in-game communication.

If this is the case, I 100% am ok with it. On top of that, shame on an immortal if they knew this guy was that green, and still came down on them. Its a good way to lose players. (n/t)

Gaplemo August 31, 2011 05:36PM

Although

daurwyn(VIP) September 01, 2011 06:10AM

Didnt they remove the benefits of the zurcon tat due to this sort of thing? (n/t)

Artificial September 01, 2011 09:11AM

Why would they pull you for that? That's no different than Rogue abusing plague on his outtie shaman to get out of range people diseased. Or leading him using follow to die in giant caravan. (n/t)

Scrimbul September 01, 2011 09:07AM

Come on, there must be something up. What immortal would possibly make a bad judgement call just to get their goodies off? nt

Matrik August 31, 2011 04:49PM

The one who did it. :P (n/t)

vladamir September 01, 2011 04:24AM

She was getting her goodies off. Goodies, being her followers.

Matrik September 01, 2011 06:11AM

Well, not for nothing.

Sam August 31, 2011 11:55AM

It took 45 hours to get to level 33

jmc August 31, 2011 01:38PM

if it was a perma, its like the worse one ever... boost the guy to 51 in 2-3 hours, and then let the mud teach him while you go afk n/t

I dunno, if he was in a group of three on most of it, I would agree, but they basicly 2 manned 50% of their ranks together and were together like 95% of them.

Gaplemo August 31, 2011 12:58PM

I don't know when they got into nexus

sez August 31, 2011 03:09PM

Dont you not get the bond till 15? Looks like a lot of it was before then. (n/t)

Gaplemo August 31, 2011 04:18PM

Excellent points. n/t

The Faithful of Nazmorghul August 31, 2011 02:04PM

I'd be willing to bet there is more to it, but then again...

Matrik August 31, 2011 12:56PM

Agreed. Who fucking cares if they rank together all the time...

qurdind August 31, 2011 12:54PM

Ranking doesn't help

daurwyn(VIP) September 01, 2011 06:11AM

This. (n/t)

wrathpuppet August 31, 2011 02:24PM
