high dex + riposte/conceal basically mean you are dealing a lot of direct damage. Espcially because super high int actually lets you perfect those skills in a reasonable time frame. Striking/defender was huge vs groups though. Hit and run while charges build then when you are untouchable take them out. One on one bersker was way better thanks to deathblow and thirst and generally you win before many charges build.

giant flurry specs and paladin types do push your poo in but there are tons of people who are not those to pick on.
