Okay, fun little jab aside, I hear your rant. I haven't been back playing long enough to really gauge what you're talking about. I happen to think reflexively that the large number of level-sitting paladins might be there because like mine, if you're not a RayBaer, you're just not getting that empowerment any time soon. Don't want to be level 40 with no skills/supps and have my Patron go "Hmm, you just ignored trying to pray to me and powerleveled, you may as well delete".

Then again, I don't perma with anyone, I don't have a circle of people to run with. I'm trying to lone-wolf it for the most part, learning as I go- even on lowbie mages which is mind-numbing at some points. I've met some good quality people thus far, and only a couple assfaces. This could be the product of me playing my chars like hermits, but it could also be representative of the playerbase. My advice, boiled down with some ginger root and orange slices (touch of honey), is that if there are assholes out there, kill them. Play something that really counters the people you're most upset about and play it to the hilt. You'll win some and lose some, and the times you get ganged and the fact that you roll solo will show up in your PBF.
