Consider this

You either get quasit, viper, raven, imp, or ifrit as baseline.

Of these, viper, imp, and ifrit can't see hidden. Ifrit, however, will prevent hidden attacks, so you're safe with him.

Viper has detect camo, which makes you super safe in the woods, and also give you sneak everywhere.

Imp tanks like a boss, but has no detects, so you're be in trouble vs an assassin, but you might (I haven't had an imp at hero) be able to harass him enough to prevent bindings.

Your familiar isn't nearly as big a deal as people make it out to be. Some fit certain playstyles better than others, but thats about it.

Familiars w/o detect hidden are too weak

Dragonsbane September 25, 2012 08:52PM

For the record

Dragonsbane December 16, 2012 06:43PM

I liked faerie dragon well enough. nt

Isildur(VIP) September 26, 2012 05:11PM

They looked good to me. nt

crafteddeception September 26, 2012 12:57PM

IMHO conjurers are nearly the easiest mage to rank at the low levels

Rade September 26, 2012 08:57AM

This.

Splntrd September 27, 2012 07:12PM

the detect hide are the least useful

Quas September 26, 2012 02:52AM

Yeah

Flipside Oreo September 26, 2012 12:10PM

I was actually dwelling on this last night as I couldn't sleep.

wrathpuppet September 26, 2012 02:10AM

Flash is OP.

trewyn September 26, 2012 04:07AM

Flash aggros mobs though, right?

istirith September 26, 2012 05:29AM

I swear you guys are just lazy

trewyn September 26, 2012 12:28PM

How new are you? (n/t)

Frosty September 25, 2012 09:23PM

I'd guess pretty new (n/t)

Guy September 25, 2012 11:41PM

Yeeeah no. Kindly inform me which of the two hidden classes pose a threat to you? Assassinate? Maybe? (n/t)

Artificial September 25, 2012 09:22PM

More than that

Dragonsbane September 26, 2012 12:40AM

I dunno.

vortexmagus September 25, 2012 11:28PM

Lol a fort thief messing with a demon conjurer at hero would get slaughtered 99 fights out of 100. (n/t)

Gaplemo September 25, 2012 11:35PM

Kinda disagree. txt

Isildur(VIP) September 26, 2012 05:19PM

Let's be realistic though. Beckon Druktrar > Detect hidden familiar. No scion should ever be bothered by a hiding class because of this. (n/t)

Isildur(VIP) September 27, 2012 11:52AM

Any class that doesn't have detect hidden is in the same boat, not just demon conjurers.

Noggen's kill was after I dived into D to get all corpse after a prior death

starbright September 30, 2012 02:41AM

Rindros had almost no success against me with demons, he was however able to kill my face off with devils.

vortexmagus September 26, 2012 07:30AM

Consider this

Artificial September 26, 2012 09:22AM

I know how to handle quasit and raven

vortexmagus September 26, 2012 06:00PM

backstab will kill a raven outright, its hp is pitiful, almost any direct damage ability will corpse it (n/t)

Quas September 27, 2012 09:48AM

Exactly

Dragonsbane September 26, 2012 08:58AM

You don't need to see the shark.

Habbs September 26, 2012 09:16AM

This is accurate. You can basically no fail teleport, and you shouldn't be walking anywhere with pets that gate to you.

Gaplemo September 26, 2012 09:38AM

Thanks

Dragonsbane September 26, 2012 10:49AM

safe conjuring is very low effort these days

Quas September 27, 2012 09:54AM

This IF there are no hostile air/off shifters on. If. (n/t)

Frosty September 27, 2012 10:37AM

I don't know, I almost prefer the homonuclous to the shadow cat and the monkey is pretty neat too. nt
