I did a couple of warriors that were both axe and mace

I got more mileage with axe.

Taking both is actually not a bad build, boneshatter+whirl gives you solid malediction on top of weaponbreaker for disarming. You have 2 different non-bash/trip lagging methods which shine in different situations.

Plus the utlity of being able to do most mace skills one handed is rather nice to mesh into an axe specs aresenal, especially if maldiction builds are popular at the time.

Axe spec vs Mace spec. How do you decide which is better?

I'd say it depends on what you're fighting.

I thought whirl was slightly higher mals at hero...like -7 or -8?

Whenever you want to find the answer to something like this, search is an option

wow, aside from bleeding, the mals of whirl or impale seem terrible now.

True. You'd think something that gets impaled in to your body would do more like boneshatter affect (n/t)

Depends on alignment for me. Good aligned non-village warrior I'd go mace, Evil I'd go axe. Haven't decided on neutral yet.

If I didn't go villager, would you still say the same thing about Axe vs Mace? (n/t)

I think size matters too. But it's mostly a question.

xrus June 22, 2013 01:35AM

Cranial seems only affected by size in the same light that trip is.

Apples and Oranges.
