"Super evade" works against area spells as well, and in this case (non marsh) only works because of heavy rain fall. He'd of been much better off blinding and running for the river (which is right next to him). (n/t)

Wanderlust has nothing to do with swampmire, just the weather. This is also a large part of the reason why Explorers lose control weather. (n/t)
