Three mistakes:

1. You knew Nateh was there and it's a night. Open the damned Forsaken Portal, it would destroy his stalks;
2. Call druk'trars. They would keep them all busy, AND also would get Nateh out of the shadows;
3. They do not have eyes - so blind them and enjoy them wasting time curing the blindness, while you are healing up.

Also, when you are fighting paladins, energy drain is your best friend. Blind, drain, curse, scourge, enjoy a corpse.
