Right there is where you should stop seeking pity for your predicament.

You fought a group slowed.

You made horrible choices for defending as far as your own spells.

You literally have a cabal power that brings everyone out of the shadows and didn't use it.

You are bad at necromancing. Instead of trying to get better you go for the classic Aether pity party approach and complain about things that other people have no issue with as being class issues.
