Rangers might be powerful while on preferred terrain, but usually this terrain is like 1-3% of the whole world.
There are not other classes (but water shifters) who would be dependent on terrain that much.

People discuss a lot the dynamic of war between Spire and Outlanders. The main complaint being that there is no dynamic. Take away from nature based classes all their abilities in cities, and this war will die at all.

In the above log the only thing that saved Vrek's arse were slow reactions from other felar. If he attacked just a bit earlier there would be one damn dead ranger :)
