You can play your Paladins one-legged for all I care. Just don't tell everyone else they're roleplaying poorly, because they don't agree with you.

There's nothing inherently evil or even non-good about summoning a PC into a locked room. Remember, this isn't summoning an innocent bystander into a slaughter. It's one of the most evil people in the world, and it's your job to stop him.
