They make it clear that it's your judgment that's at the heart of the question. If they came back just a couple minutes later to continue a raid and found them there, yeah, I probably wouldn't kill them, but maybe I would. And I certainly wouldn't uninduct them if I were the leader and they did that. It's war.
The question comes if someone makes a habit of finding excuses to do it. Then you have problems. But if some healer or druid or whatever helps a mage I'm fighting, they damn well better expect a smack. Same log in is probably ok, though again, it's judgment.
Remember, battleragers are just that, people who rage over battle. They hate magic and they are dedicated to a life of battle, fighting, combat, war, etc etc etc. Their first response is always going to be violence, and that's how it should be. People seem to think they should be able to do whatever they want to a rager, around a rager, with a rager, and then get a pass because they aren't a mage or member of an enemy cabal. These people are what we call wrong.
Bottom line is if you mess with a rager (attack him, help who he is fighting, save someone he is fighting, etc.) then expect there to be a consequence, and that consequence will more often than not come in the form of violence against you.
Note that once they do kill you, or otherwise have the fight over it, then they probably shouldn't be attacking you again unless you decide to do it again. And if you do decide to do it again, then pretty soon you are a personal enemy of that villager and they have every right to attack you on sight. Hunt you like a mage? No. But see you on eastern road? Damn right you get the bash.
