I know only one high level earthbind scroll, but you have to spent a lot of time to take it solo (as invoker) and scroll is opener.
Don't tell me about shitty rod with 20th level earthbind, it isn't going to affect anyone.

Do enlight me about easy/fast gather of scroll/wand with 40+ earthbind.


4 - Resist magic doesn't work that way, it just resists the magic "damage type", which isn't very common.

Wrong, dwarven/duergarish resist magic gives resist to elemental damage spells of invokers (exceptions are earthquake, buffet, ice needles, pebble, rain of stones)

And you miss the point. Invoker class has many drawbacks and requires a lot of time to gather wand/study spells et cetera, and there is true broken classes like paladin-monk.
