There is a natural human tendency to identify, label, classify, analyze and generalize.

It might be different if each of us had a consistent identity, such as only one character and only one forum handle, but within game the only real way to identify someone is through their language patterns and their behaviors. This leads, rightly or wrongly, to stereotyping.

It is difficult to create a significant and consistent change to our manner of speaking and writing. The challenge then is to recognize that our behavior, both within the game and on the forums, is the best way to assert individuality and prove that the stereotypes do not apply.
