just one of my alts, to correct you, since you're so hung up on a few things.
<<<Fzoarn would yell at me for what he perceived as rudeness towards him. What counts as rudeness -
<<<Assisting him with a mob without being asked by him.
You walked in on me fighting a Midnight Dragon and talked to my character like I was having a hard time
fighting it. You basically tried to treat Fzoarn like a weaker Paladin, without even asking if he needed help,
you were said something more along the lines that you assumed I needed the help, and I took that as
an undermining of my ability. I felt IC like you were trying to make me feel small. You took it offensively, I
was respectfully telling you how I felt at the time.
<<Greeting him and then leaving the scene.
You would often greet me and by the time I could even nod at you or say hello, you were already out
of the area. Maybe you think this is "fair of speech", I think it's rude. If you want to say hello, stick
around long enough for someone to say hello back. Snooty elf.
<<<Moving too fast when ranking - he'd just say something like, 'Elanya, if you don't slow down right now I am leaving.' - which is fair enough, and merely a <<<harbinger of future interactions.
We were in the slave mines of sitran. I was more than clear that it was an area I was not familiar in, and you were sprinting through it. We were
getting attacked by aggro mobs, sometimes in pairs. You wouldn't stop long enough for me to keep up sanc/prot evil/ etc, and were not only
endangering me, but our groupmate. This was in part to my dislike of the Fortress. You were directly disregarding the groups safety in your
hasty quest to spill blood. I had to ask you three times to slow down, and not until I started to get sternly irate with you and threaten to leave the
group did you start giving me a chance to keep my protections up. Humans aren't Elves, and don't have the same mana regen. All you had to
do was give me a few seconds here and there to check my affects, that's not too much to ask.
<<<The worst thing was that if I were a (strong) evil character I'd have simply attacked him for it, whether he was a potential ally or not. As a Paladin, all I <<<could do was bend over backwards to accommodate his over-sensitive temper, and that was really annoying for me. It's one of the downsides of <<<goodie RP (which he seems to evade entirely) that you have to turn the other cheek when another goodie is being childish/annoying - he is still a <<<goodie, and you must still help him, even if he's going to yell at you for it.
Sounds like wealth envy to me. I didn't really trust you IC, and treated you as a fellow paladin of the guild. You obviously had your own agenda,
and the proof is in the pudding. I'm not going to measure accomplishments here, but I'm much more happier with mine, than if I were to have yours.
<<<You know, if the character weren't a Paladin I'd have no problems with him at all. RP is RP, but I think Paladins' RP should be rather limited. Doing <<<things like taunting, calling people coward, insulting people, and ignoring them, just comes across more as an OOC thing than an IC thing. Some <<<people might disagree with me on the Paladin RP, and that's fair enough. It's ultimately up to the IMMs to decide.
See my above response.
<<<Now if deriveh did a character like that, and was a rude bastard IC, I'd call it IC. Rogue is just RPing Rogue - when he can make a character who is <<<restrained, TEMPERATE (as his virtue indicates), and respectful to others (even when smashing their faces in), I'll say he can RP. Choosing to RP in <<<a way which always suits your OOC temperament doesn't prove that you have good RP skills.
I think "your" ooc feelings are superceding my IC behavior here. It's obvious you don't agree with how I did things, and that's fine. It's also obvious that the
people's opinions that actually count, did agree with my way of doing things. Maybe your Imm doesn't know how to be an Imm and you're totally right about
that, maybe not, maybe I really don't care. Maybe you should worry about yourself and next paladin you play you might get into a cabal before you hero, and some virtues to play with. Maybe I'm a d-bag because I did fine on my first ones?
Since I outed one of my alts, I guess I get re-banned for not breaking any rules again. I just felt the need to "correct" you, and now I'm done.
Enjoy. :)
