In no particular order:
=====================
Merriman Lyon: The Gumerry of old, Susan Cooper's grandfatherly guardian from Over Sea, Under Stone and the rest of the Dark is Rising series. NOT, repeat NOT, the butchered, retarded, Americanized and buttfucked movie version. I am in agreement with the author on this.
Raistlin Majere: The quintessential tortured young nerd, intellectually superior but cursed with bodily weakness, whose embrace of the Art became an all-consuming passion. Without checking: "Ast tasarak sinularan krynawi".
Ford Prefect: I know many will put the aforementioned Arthur Philip Deodat in the prime place for the works of Saint Douglas, but I've always secretly aspired to Fordhood.
Professor Urban Chronotis, AKA "Reg": I make no secret of my aspirations toward immortality and time travel.
Wowbagger the Infinitely Prolonged: see above.
Beldin "the Dwarf", Disciple of Aldur: The deformed and hyper-intelligent sorcerer from the Belgariad and Malloreon series. I almost put Silk in this spot, but Beldin is the only person who out-cools the Prince of Drasnia.
Allanon the Druid: The Shannara series will forever have a place in my heart, and Allanon was one of the true original bad-asses. Yes, enough so that his nomenclature here deserves a hyphen.
Puddleglum the Marsh-Wiggle and Marvin the Paranoid Android, having a dark and gloomy tea somewhere in the Galaxy.
Svlad Cjelli, AKA Dirk Gently: I could never thank DNA enough for Richard MacDuff, Gordon and Susan Way, and in a very serious sense for introducing me fully to the fundamental interconnectedness of all things.
Elrond of Rivendell: Seriously, watch the Misty Mountain Network's biography on him, it's insane.
That's our varsity squad at the moment. We reserve the right to edit and append in future. We thank you for your consideration.
