... having a stake in the current 3-4 year view of the future (it's partially my job), once wealth shifts more and we hit another "revolution" of change in jobs - it isn't a bright future. Tim O'Reilly has a conference in about a week talking about the "new economy" and there are a lot of futurists that feel that our government is going to either collapse under itself from bullshit like this year (imagine if Trump actually won) and the radical change which is going to be forced by other countries.

Neurologists *today* have ways to remove addiction, increase productivity energy, and directly implant behavioral change into people but it's all behind the FDA bullshit so "enhancement" will never be approved. Imagine what'll happen when other countries start using this excessively (40% of women in S.Korea already get plastic surgery, you don't think the men will want brain enhancements?).... and it'll only be affordable by the rich because the divide has already grown too large.
