you don't apply that intensely high standard of evidence to things that you happen to agree with politically, only things which don't fit your worldview.
For example, when Trump claimed that climate change was a chinese hoax on his twitter, I don't see you calling him out on it: [
twitter.com]
When he claimed that vaccines cause autism, I don't see you demanding mounds of evidence for it: [
twitter.com]
When he claims that Hillary Clinton is corrupt, and the worst thing you see in *any* of those emails is her getting leaked a debate question early, where is the evidence you're demanding? 52,000 pages of emails were leaked. Nothing of huge importance was in ANY of them. [
www.pbs.org]. The worst she's guilty of is mishandling classified information, but y'know, Colin Powell and Condellezza Rice mishandled classified information via email in their time with the Bush Administration. Hell, even Donald Trump's pick for national security advisor shared classified information without permission: [
www.washingtonpost.com] - why aren't you trying to lock up Colin Powell and Michael T. Flynn?
I think it's pretty clear there's a huge double standard going on. You want to call out the bullshit of everyone who disagrees with you by demanding levels of evidence that nobody could realistically offer, but you're willing to lick the spoon of bullshit clean when its your own political party offering you the poo, and never question a thing.
