HP v. Lenovo Laptop

Debating on which one I should get...thoughts? I'm leaning towards the Lenovo because of it's reputation (HP has a shitty reputation, and my dealing with them has been abysmal). But specwise, HP may have the lead in this case, especially since I can upgrade it to a 16 gig ram easy. Price is comparable.

I'm sceptical towards both brands

Yea, did that

I have a Lenovo. I'd say for both brands you at minimum need to know how to remove pervasive bloatware.

Matrik July 12, 2012 07:56AM

I had a Lenovo T500 thinkpad.

Provide additional information;

Seilclavin July 11, 2012 06:30PM

HP has extremely poor consumer evaluations, any brand beats them. (n/t)

Bendak July 11, 2012 05:42PM

Why not wait two months for windows 8? (n/t)

kanye July 11, 2012 04:48PM

Wasn't Windows 8 designed more for smartphones and less for desktops/laptops?

DurNominator(VIP) July 11, 2012 09:21PM

i have a coworker who uses a touchscreen with the "Start Screen" as, basically, a remote for his computer
