I really liked how Lenovo typed - much better than toshiba. Acer was comparable. My budget is about $1,000, and for the price, I couldn't find any other laptops with comparable specs. It's going to be for law school - however, I'd like a laptop that I can use for 5+ years that can also play games and do some video editting. I figure getting a higher end laptop at this stage would be better.

For a non-practical reason - guilty pleasure. I don't want a PC, and after working so long, I want to reward myself with something shiny.
