The human's extra herb set could be of any type; it doesn't have to be utility. How would the sups compare between a wood-elf with 5 herbs and a human with the same 5 herbs + an extra offensive set?
My thinking is that with a human and that edge you really could have an extra utility herb set active at all times. Plus no iron vuln.
When you use the PK stats too and sort by PKpH then look at druids created in the last 3 years you get: Ambra (human), Kebe (wood-elf), Quird (cloud), Baldrien (human), Careashiin (wood-elf), Lylesse (human).
If anybody who played one of
How does this work exactly? If you call it when you're not in the same room, does it start from the room you're in and track to the target? Or does it appear right at the target, regardless of where you (the druid) are?
How does Treeform work at hero?
Is it like normal camouflage, where you can commune and use the "where" and "tell" commands, or is it more like duo dimension?
Is the lag at the beginning when you go into tree form, or at the end when you come out?
How much does the "Oak Shaper" edge reduce it?
Approximately how much better is Romantic Lullaby at hero, with a decent instrument, compared to Tragic Lullaby?
Grand Nocturne?
Nocturne of Fright?
Has anybody played both a successful Romantic bard and a successful Tragic bard? What was annoying about each one, compared to the other?
Does preferred repertoire affect which edges you can take?
Excluding stuff from area explores, what are the top-shelf instruments for each repertoire? Here's a starter list.
Lyre of Light
Goldenwood Harp
Jewel-Encrused Gold Harp
Wailing Fiddle
Silver Harmonica
Horn of the Tritons
Ghostly Lute
Gleaming White Fiddle with Golden-Made Strings
Wailing Fiddle
Steel-Stringed Guitar
Twisting Horns of Valor
Elf-Skin Drum
If any of these are
Ah. Was also assuming I'd take the edge if I were going to switch regularly.
This might be easier if I knew how much less effective tragic lullaby was compared to romantic lullaby.
I see now. I was sort of assuming that most fiend kills would be set up by sleeping the person first. So you could either be really good at putting them to sleep or you could be really good at fiending. That was also why I asked about switching repertoires, to see if you could have your cake and eat it too. Romantic for the lullaby portion then tragic for the maledicts and fiend.
From help lullaby:
"Using soft tone and graceful melody, a skilled bard can sing this powerful
lullaby that lures many into a deep and immediate sleep."
From help romantic:
"Consumed with subjects of love and fantasy, the
romantic bard is able to paint pictures with her words, affecting those around
her with subtle nuance.
Genera
Romantic has Good Lullaby, Good Healing/Utility, Better instrument options
Tragic has Mediocre Lullaby, Good Str/Dex Maledicts, Good Dirge of Solitude, Good Grand Nocturne, Worse instrument options
Pick one and use it all the time? If so, which, and why?
Pick Romantic preferred, then switch to Tragic after successful Lullaby?
Pick Tragic preferred, then walk around using Romantic all
So the Provost could boot a Vindicator? I always thought Vindicators were sort of "on their own" and weren't accountable to anyone but the Tribunal imms.
It takes an imm to make someone a Vindicator, right?
What is the chain of command in the Tribunal cabal?
There's a Provost, some Provinicials, then the normal magistrates.
But what about Vindicators? Are they accountable to the Provost?
Arcane Scholar- does this juice dispel magic, or just cancellation? The help file seems like it could go either way.
Dimensional Vision - does this let you see 2D people on "who" and "where", or only when you're in the same room?
I knew it a chance to freeze the person for a long time. Was just curious about what's normal. Like if I run up to a stranger who I think will flee as soon as he can, and I start with neuro, how likely is it I'll be able to follow with a slow then still be able to neuro again before he flees?
What is the range of lag on neurological disruption? Is "trip lag" the worst case? How often do you get more? Is possible to slip in other spells like slow or soften between neuros while still keeping the person lagged? It looked like Bambizlo did that in one of this logs.
