So I loved that book. And when I first started playing in '94, my first interview with my first ever Master's applicant answered the question of what the five mages are by quoting this book. Needless to say, I was wrong. So sad. The second book (Six Magics) was good, but not as good. This book was such fun to read.
Not that it matters, but by this definition, I am on that list. Warrior, assassin, shaman, at least. And they didn't have pbfs back then but I'd be willing to bet some of my mage chars did as well.
I think the argument could be made (and my goodie ragers made this argument many years ago) that it should be a GOOD only cabal. At least back then, a common reason for being a villager was that magic can't be controlled and will doom the world, so in everyone's best interests it must be ended. Altruism, baby.
Ignore Rhyaldrin, he's a moron when it comes to the village. It's more like an off-off-off Broadway show with him, it's entertaining from time to time but it's very low production values.
Did you just criticize a stealth/hiding class for, you know, being stealthy and hiding? For choosing their fights?
Because it really seems like you did and that's just absurd. Do you criticize warriors for bashing?
Among other things they put a false entry into my char's history. It was a paladin. They put in a note that said I was caught killing orphans in balator. So when I prayed for empowerment, I was denied.
They did this because at the time they believed there were leaks among the staff, meaning imms speaking to players outside the game, giving them information, etc. They wanted to see i
The only question is how much the latter depended on the former. As far as I know I'm the only one the game staff - Nepenthe and Twist in particular - ever publicly admitted to having cheated against by altering my char's pfile. There is quite a bit more of different sorts, but the point hasn't been seriously debated for over a decade, they admitted they do things when they think
Actually I hate cheeseburgers. I go pure hamburger (with tomato, lettuce, onion, pickle and, sometimes, bacon).
None of which matters as payment for legal services comes in cold hard cash. Period.
Only full looted:
- Acitavian - 1 time because he full looted my other character.
That's cheating. Yes you don't need a reason to loot (and I was always a defender of looting) but you did in fact have a reason, and it was an ooc reason, and that's cheating. You're scum.
