Back when I was playing - familiars were coded to the first letter of the charactors name. I think it was Jaguab who cracked it. I remember I tested it and it worked everytime.
ie) It was like names starting with A (goodie) gives you Faerie Dragon. B gives coyote, and so forth.
ANyhow, unless they changed the coding it probably still works. I remember using the guide for evil conjies a
Sitting around or being in the same square of a maran enemy repeatedly is simply your fault.
Rare occasions can happen....Fine you got surprised in Organia...You couldn't see him coming...Shit happens, move on.
But after that, you deserve to be PKed. Maybe plan better places to rank solo or stand around.
Or if you like sitting around near enemies, go sit in a city with a goodie
Why are you sending up a pray? Evil Emperor ignores you. Why the fuck would the IMMS give a rats ass about that? I guess players need to drop everything and chat when its convenient for you?
I can relate to Bherus' player.
You could have the best roleplayed, coolest player - helping the mud, making the CF experience better for people around them.....and the small group of powergamers will attack any reward/perk/advantage that player gained. (gifted/gained/earned/fallen into lap...debatable...but changes nothing)
There are guys who will actually roll up something to grief,
I actually like just reading Sacer stuff. I would like reading a log of a Hell Trip from start to finish - Satan. Just for the descriptive storyline and seeing things of interest.
If the group involved was roleplaying along too - would make an awesome log.
And I have no plan of playing...I just respect the work Sacer did.
Another Problem is - every single trip I've done with a Hel
Back when I was playing I was asked a lot to do Hell Trips. I probably have been there 5-6 times and mostly running through first 3-4 circles.
I did not enjoy planning hell trips (being part of the planning). Waiting, sitting, boring...disliked it. Always seemed like too much work and waiting.
It was also very obvious that most of the planning/discussion was taking place outside of the gam
Everyone is welcome to their own opinions on full looting/griefing.
If you have a game where only 15-20 people are left and spend your time making things 1) less fun, & 2) more tedious, then don't be surprised when 3-4 people don't bother anymore and quit.
It will be awesome when you log in to find 5 people total and you can all sit around the inn and mudsext.
You seem se
Both had the same lastname. Worked together at times in game. Both leaders in cabals. Seriously - we had no contact or planning outside of game whatsoever. Very weird.
Good times though.
I've always wondered why one is allowed to heal at town healers while in the middle of a fight. "En guarde....let me put some coins in the donation bowl whilst this priest chants prayers and tends to my wounds while I am twirling my two swords at an attacking fire giant....."
I recently started playing again albeit limited. Not going to comment on all my observations...some good some really bad but anyhow back to Cabals/Inactive leaders.
I was blown away by the 'new' Pledge command' WHat a brilliant idea....
My idea is to have the Pledge command take it up a notch. If players Pledge at Rank 15 and in addition to a small power gain the ability
Most of my orc fights were shifter (Utility) comparable defense forms. ABS and they were pretty much the most lopsided fights possible. Even with hoards, in the village, it was pretty much walk in and kill at will.
Are the overpowered comments directed at 'villager' matchups or are orcs finding success against mage classes too? (with adaptation modifications and edges)
Neat log
Unless something has changed...movement would always be a factor for any of my air forms. FLyto, fly up, all takes movement. If you have to go from area to area, it is taxing.
