I am finally starting to spam my steal skill now that I've had my thief far too long to not to. I blackjack and once in a while when I try to steal it says 'You better not - You might get hit'. Is this a warning skill echo? If so, I don't have warning skill and they are 'jacked so I don't know why that would pop up.
If someone attacks me and dies trying(which doesn't happen that often), I take every weapon from the corpse and destroy it unless I can use it. Why? Because that prevents them from bugging me for a little while. I leave the armor, though, if I don't need it.
In my post I said I know they are easily parried and I know whirlwind will not help me parry easier. What I wanted was comments from people who had it as to whether it was helpful in helping them land more blows, since it is easy to parry swords.
Now...I'm not quite near legacy range yet, only about half-way really. I have swords as a first spec and will probably take flails or fists for my second. Anyways, I know swords are quite easily parried, being the most common weapon in all the world and I saw Whirlwind of Steel in the legacy list and wondered if that was actually helpful enough to waste a legacy on? I'd like some inp
Besides, there are more people who will want to go ranking on land than in water, generally speaking anyway. And I had a third tier form that could tank about as well as an armadillo, but not all forms can and not even all fourth tier forms can.
Sad thing is, I don't particularly enjoy playing the character, but I have something I need to do so I can't really just delete it yet. But I don't really think I feel like going to get those levels back again, honestly. So sad.
I used to be able to whore myself to this game for hours and I wish I still could. But it just doesn't hold the appeal to me that it used to. And it's not that my tastes have changed, I still love the RP here and all that, but there's just too many asshats which makes me avoid pretty much everyone, which in turn makes it not as much fun. It's still an alright MUD, it's
Lol, and I know it is going to be varied to a certain degree but it seems really odd when I do a wound one round and a MUTILATE the next is all. I know it didn't used to be quite that retarded anyways, and now it seems like it takes forever to become Confident in a form too.
QuoteThe BaronBeen suggested quite a few times in the past. You could do a search for them.
The adding of a prog was a compromise when the rangers revamped. Personally, I think it's a lot better now than it was. Elemental staves don't really fit with the class, in my opinion. How would a ranger make a staff out of ice? Likewise, how does a bedouin make one out of fire? What does this
I was venturing with a ranger the other day and thinking about all the rangers I've had in the past and had a thought. What about elemental staffs depending on their home terrain? Maybe when they reach level 40 or maybe master fashion or imbue staff(hopefully not). I know some regions get progs, but I just thought it would be interesting if they could fashion an elemental type attack, lik
If we would just kill all the homeless people and then turn them into food, we could easily solve two very important problems facing our country these days.
If you can get more people involved in CF, that's just peachy with me. But I know when I started, I wouldn't have been nearly as interested in it if I didn't have someone sitting next to me in the Computer lab in our dorm showing me what to do. That won't happen for many, they'll get frustrated, like I do when I play CODWW, lol...*throws xbox controller and screams..&qu
Lol, if you want to go through with it, then good luck to you. But as someone who plays on and off, if you are a new player there is a steep and unfriendly learning curve. The playerbase, as it seems to me, is mostly comprised of douchebags and powergamers(as Baron himself has admitted to being an ass). You visit these boards and it's flame after flame, it does not present a very newbie-f
Unfortunately, I do not see many younger players finding the draw to this game that they would have five or ten years ago, mainly because of the numerous MMORPGs that have come around since then. It would be nice, but not likely to happen with todays short attention spans(most youngsters seem to have the attention span of a gnat).
I haven't played a beastmaster in forever so maybe they already can, but wouldn't it be fitting if they could kinspeak to shifters that were in form? It seems it would kind of fit with the whole 'beastmaster' sort of idea.
For the most part, if I am not playing a completely bastard asshole evil character I leave most people alone if they don't give me reason to mess with them. But if I find you stopped somewhere, resting, all but dead, don't expect me not to ambush/backstab/knife/murder you because you are weak and wounded. It's not my fault you got your ass whooped and left me an open opportunity
I have played 3 felar hunters, two of which were also caverndwellers. I found it made for a pretty decent combo, but as you lose dual wield, you lose your claw attacks with a bow. However, you will still occasionally get them with a staff or spear, just like you would get random ones while using one of those weapons before you ever get the skill anyways. They are great for tanking mobs, but I
Did they make it amphibious? Because when I had it before the changes..it was not. Which blew big ones, because it was Hella nasty. You could dish out DEMOs through resistances and be taking little more than injures without any abs.
QuotecointreauLooking to clean up the shifter page. What are the new forms we've gained and lost since the changes.
