I was thinking since parry seems to be mainly strength based, that taking this with a lower-strength hand to hand spec, i.e. felar or elf, might help improve their parrying a little bit. But if it doesn't, then may have to take something else.
So, I dunno what the deal might be with your character. Maybe out of home terrain or something. I know that Marsh seems to mess with a lot of ranger builds, other than marshdweller, but then they have a hell of a time trying to camo in fields/plains. I have a caverndweller right now and I don't seem to fail camo in any terrain I've tried yet.
Did the cities fade back into being too, or did they rebuild them. And if they rebuilt them, why would they be exactly the same, and where did they get the lumber and stone to build them if they did? LOL, things to make you think :P
I was reading the thoughts on staff below and it got me slightly curious about the process. My question is, in writing an area, do you need to know the programming code, or can you just write all the descriptions for room, NPC's, items, etc, etc, and have someone else do the actual coding, persay? I can write an area just fine, I've already thought of a few that might be neat, but I h
Yes, this is a rather aside from the main point. And If becoming a HeroImm meant the chance to RP and Interact frequently with other players, then I would do it in a heartbeat. However, it seems it's more of a pain in the butt beaurocracy, which we all know doesn't work well.
But anyway, this is not a newbie-friendly place to be. There are too few players, which is and of itself,
Now that I am here, I am reading all of these over, thinking to myself about some of the options. Axe and mace together seems somewhat...useless to me. Not to say it's useless and yes, I understand all the maledicting possibility of it. I am thinking perhaps polearm, for chargeset and maybe the added defense of distance and such. Plus, there are some decent polearms to be found these day
I don't think it would be axes, because that seems rather redundant since maces are primarily a damage output specialization. I was thinking, perhaps, flails for a little more utility but then again, maybe not. Swords may be a good choice for a little added defense, or perhaps polearms. Obviously, I wouldn't bother with the dexier specs like staff/spear or dagger. Hrmmm, whatcha thi
But as the player numbers dwindle, so does the fun, and the asswhore players(And there are plenty of them) stand out more and more and detract from the fun of others. It is definately not a game you can be casual at if you want anything at all to come out of the character you create. I like to live in a fantasy world too, but I can go live in a fantasy world of shooting terrorists in MW2 tomorr
