And fairly old, but Twin Peaks has one of the most surprising endings ever. Found both seasons on dvd some time ago and recently saw the series for the second time. Definitely a favorite, but I suppose you have to accept the weirdness.
The Mist is good indeed, but in that case I found the ending just silly and unnecessary.
It's not that you can't PK without 'the cool' gear. If they have it and use it to explore, why not? That's their perogative. If they have it and you want it, why not take it? They have to get out of the Inn at some point in time. Or how else would they have gathered that gear? How else will they go explore? If they are the non-PK guys you say they are, it's not going
I never met your character (wasn't playing yet, my opinion is based on posts here) so I think I can say I'm objective in this: Why is it that when shit hits the fan, you're always at least partly in the middle of it?
Maybe you should think on how to avoid that.
Suppose 2 mobs, in all things equal except:
1st mob: hits 3 times per round, for an avg dam of 30 per hit -> total 90 dam
2nd mob: hits 5 times per round, for an avg dam of 16 per hit -> total 80 dam
The 2nd mob would be far more interesting, since you don't need to heal nearly as much and you get more (defense) opportunities.
A mob that just 'happens' to be bett
The main difference I see is that evils are doing 'it' for themselves, while goodies do 'it' for something beyond them. And that's where perspective comes in, because both might be doing the same thing, while each perceives/justifies it differently. Onlookers might also perceive both differently.
Also, even the most evil person imaginable likely doesn't see himsel
I define a religion as open-ended if it:
'Accepts a wide range of beliefs (aligned around the general concept/sphere(s) of the religion), rather than dictate specific dogma'
Maybe I should have used 'broad', rather than open-ended ...
Padwei (sadly gone apparently) would be a good example of an IMM with an open-ended religion, while I see Baerinika* as being more dogm
