I took it recently as elf sword rager and it parried a dirt kick from a city guard once. It’s crazy. Used to be good and worth edge points. Now it’s terrible and is still the most expensive edge. I was pissed too. As far as Maran goes if you were that many hours and didn’t have drama with your character like killing goodies or whatever they just didn’t like you or nobody is watching fort rightby jalim - Char Board

You had so much damage reduction the typical 'scratches' registered as a 'misses' because the damage you took was non-existent from the dirt kick, but the dirt kick still went through because it was a successful dirt kick.by jalim - Log Board

There are mechanical restrictions already in place that follow cabal guidelines that do not allow weaker non-courageous fights to be used in conjunction with the powers.
