Multiple people have gotten booted from Tribunal for "raiding" cabals (namely Fort) to PK.
Based on some of the logs, I don't see why Miyatzi isn't evil/chaotic and in Scion or None. Hopefully the PBF reveals whatever component of the role connects the dots that I'm just not privy to.

Most colleges and universities don't accept Wikipedia as a valid source, though I've had professors who didn't give a rat's ass, especially when it/we just happened to be correct.
However, when engaging in argument-over-Internet, I would say Wikipedia is a damn fine source. I mean that not because the standards of Wikipedia is so amazingly high, but because the standards of
Nobody is perfect and I'm sure from time to time, the behavior of the Immortals is influenced by their OOC opinions, bad day at work, etc., but I would hardly include that in the list of "Problems that keep CF from flourishing".
I'm not sure exactly what you mean, but I can't think of a single case in recent history where a staff member has done something "bad&quo
I'd love to see the bar for heroimm lowered, and that position basically becoming a sort of permanent cabal leader / moderator. These guys would focus on interaction with mortals, the administration of their cabals, etc., and that's all.
Further promotion could be no easier than it is now, and I rather like that new Immortals have to write an area or make some other significant contr
... it's blissfully fun when you're ignorant to the degree of which you suck. See, I was the baddest level 8 half-elf axe spec you ever saw back in the day. I about wrecked a perfectly good pair of gym shorts when I realized damage could BE IN CAPS!!
Eventually though, we start to realize the disparity between us and all these other folks, and as we get better we really want to close
Though I'm perfectly willing to own up to the fact that I share info with people now and then, "talk shop", group with my pals, and otherwise don't always respect the wishes of the staff as well as they might like.
CF is a game and, while I try to respect the wishes of the staff, I have a really hard time enjoying it with a gag in my mouth and blinders on my eyes (and my ha
You can Google for all the answers to WoW or any other MMO. You can buy books about it (if they still sell those things). You can ask any of the MILLIONS of other players for spoons.
I would also argue that CFs learning curve is not only very steep in general, but it starts out that way. You can play WoW as a relative newbie and/or casual gamer and get a lot of enjoyment out of it, where as th
First of all, head on over to TMC / TMS and take a look at the "top MUDs". Other than a couple other "independents", most of them are IRE (Iron Realms Entertainment) games, which are basically commercial MUDs developed by for-hire programmers. Not only do smart people get paid to code them, but the games have money for advertising too (play around on Google and you'll see
If you're the Chancellor and that's a (Magical), limit 1, level 60 item in good despoil conditions, MAYBE?
Sounds buggy. Report it? (Har har, yeah right?)
Your average Rager warrior can go a lot farther on a lot less gas than a mage can.
The trade-off, IMHO, is that mages get a lot of control. Being able to choose where you like being on the "effort vs. protection" graph is pretty nice sometimes, especially if you're willing to go get the wands and other preps necessary. In contract, often times all a Rager has to ponder is tactic
All edges have an "edge points" requirement (among many other requirements in skills, stats, race, class, etc.), regardless of what kind of edge it is.
Observation garners edge points (among other things like PKing, receiving IMM-given XP, etc.).
It's up to you to decide if you want edges on your warrior, how many, which ones, and how you're going to go about earning all
Again, you're bringing literally a few hours of observation to the table during a time when (or maybe right after) Tribunal was really hurting.
Now it's still a bit of an influx in membership, and since there is a bit of a bottleneck the way induction versus promotion works, seeing a large percentage of the Magistrates assigned to Seantryn isn't that unusual. The only important
I won't try to argue the leadership has been pretty dead-beat for a while, however:
Putting everyone in Seantryn (which seems to be a convention, but not absolutely mandatory) makes a reasonable amount of sense IC and OOC.
IC: You start the "green" cops in the city with the least action to let them get their feet wet. There's less chance for fuck-ups and it puts less pre

Google around for gaming PC builder sites. There are dozens of companies out there that will let you configure gaming systems online, part by part.
The good ones are usually priced somewhere between build-it-yourself and Alienware.
You might try searching around for a local computer shop (not a Geek Squad or some gay shit like that) and ask if they'll order the parts and build it for y

Vets: Next time you go exploring to rack up your explore exp/observation exp at low levels -- take a guy with you to learn what he can look at! Share the love! You want newbs to come back?! Give them a reason too! Slaying them over and over again is not fun for them, especially when they don't even get any role playing out of just empty equipment slots and an empty pocket
Look at every reasonable high level or seemingly significant / unique NPC you come across.
Turn "brief" OFF. Read the room descriptions. Try to examine all the nouns you see. Drawers, desks, tables, notes, cracks, crevices, sconces, etc. Look at all STUFF in the room.
Type "exits". Do the same as above for the exit descriptions.
Generally speaking, you can skip a lot
