I can tell you that a berserker can not heal it self, a defender can... so if you want to fight a berserker, use this against them...among other things...
Even though with all the Anametha, he's not that bad, just don't f-up, he'll leave you alone well enough. I have a problem with him in other areas, but as an Emperor, he does fine to me
This is a turn based game, if you don't lag them enough and they still just stand there doing nothing, it doesn't take that many rounds to see it is a free kill. Of course I don't have to tell you guys that, most of the players here are veterans. And to say that one does not know if the other is linked dead mid-fight is like BSing a BS-er. I can almost always tell when I am figh
PKing a mindless character is shitty no matter what angle you look at it... I see there are no rewards whatsoever in PKing mindless chars except for the stats and the fun of it... and fighting a mindless player is not exactly half a challenge to get fun from... and for the stats, only a dozen of people probably get to interact with Lenyara, and probably a fraction of that would look at his/her P
I'm not speaking for others but as one of the player who is not playing currently: the main reason I don't play right now is because the game is designed toward dexy characters... when I have an itch to play a dexy character then it is a good game. If I want to play the stupid and slow character, then I just might as well not. I don't have neither the time nor patient to be abuse
Monks mostly kick serious butts with little effort, it can be quite powerful on a seasoned player. That is awesome, for the monk player of course. Now let's step outside our limited vision and look at the big picture...
On the other side of things, no one wants to get their ass beaten left and right, re-gearing or doing unnecessary things other than what is fun to them.
If you want
To some extend I do try to be on a competitive level, but before the Warmaster ordered me recently to shed weight so I can dodge better, I intentionally wore the stinky carcass as a cloak (which weighted 165 pounds just for this item) that raised my max weight to about 10 pounds less than max weight capacity. I wore it just because it's a stinky carcass, that was half of Uig's hero lif
I am pretty sure we all suck at something at one time or another...however since I spent alot of time intelligently dwelling in different aspect of the game across many characters and invested countless hours int it...my ideas are a treasure trove even though stubborn close minded people won't accept it..
A few good words:
Aside from a few good folks, there are a bunch of strange characters involved in this game, from players to the designers.
From the Fort to the Empire and back to the Villagers and everything in between, so many characters playing some kind of game maximization, where they try to maximize everything!
Some examples:
Aigi tries to build up his weapons religiously,
Saw lots of discussions about overhead so I want to clear it up once and for all: does the overhead lag axe spec 3 rounds and lag the opponent 2.7 rounds?? Yes or No?
Thanks
I remembered a fight where I entwined an orc and was ready deliver damage, and in a round or two after, the orc brought my good health down to me being barely able to escape alive just by fleeing... That's the skill I am talking about and the damage from it was not so small.
The way I see it, did I break the laws if you can not prove it IC? The irony is that I have never got branded Criminal for stealing in town because there was no proof of it. I did get marked Wanted one time for following imperial laws though in an isolated incident :D
I was not a role model imperial shadow and don't claim to be, and thus my imperial ranks reflected it which I was well
Dirty fighting from the Skrugga Orc - How does it work? does it work with parting block from thieves, cut off from polearms, does it work anytime an orc type flee? I know it works on being entwined, I was the one doing the entwining on a Skrugga orc. The reason I am asking it is because ... I want a Skrugga orc to exploit something :D Thanks for answering.
Got once too many deaths by assassins' throw skill. Saw the board's complaints about assassin, didn't realize it until I face a few and see how OP it is. What the hell happened to the assassin class? I got my arse whopped lol. I have play for many years and have never seen assassins specifically use throw and ground control for the win until recently. They don't even try
