I was basing that opinion on the fact that I've been killed dead plenty of times by Villagers for healing, recalling, or otherwise aiding mages who were in trouble. Not just in the same battle; in the same login. Not forever or three days later, of course.
When I read the log it looked like they came back a few minutes later, in the course of the same raid. It didn't seem off to me.
We even have a VIP here publically decrying Dio's chosen villains. And yet it is always, always, always hearsay. We're asked to believe things based upon the supposed testimony of bitter ex Imms, who supposedly really hated cheating and yet manage to have at least a few non Imms on their PM lists. One might say that that is suspicious.
Why should I take one brand of hearsay over the
The amount of work he did for this game, for free, was incredible, and I'm grateful.
The amount of shit he got from ungrateful assholes, was despicable.
This is going to be worse for CF, both in the short and the long term, then any of the fluffy RP imms that got "run off" being gone.
Used to be you spent one practice on each thing, and the rest went to hp. Now you either spend two and lose that hp, or start off with your skills in the low 60's, whatever 22 int gives you.
So you usually won't be offsetting that low con with your trains like the other smart races do.
Couple mechanics related questions.
Can you martial trance, then bloodthirst?
Can you buy cure poison and cure disease from the village healer, or do you have to stand there until RNG tells it to heal you?
Good villager combo for learning the ins and outs of villager life? I'm bouncing between fire sword/axe avalanche/warcry legacy, svirf axe/hand autumn/gates or crashing, or dwarf
I'd much rather think that these combos seeming OP is due to my suckiness then them being massively OP.
If you roll a character and kick their ass, I'd actually prefer that.
I'm just skeptical that it'll happen.
I'm just stating my own opinion, that if CF went to a pay for perks system that I would quit. I'm not paying money to catch up to people who are already better at this game then me as it is.
Also, why do we think more people would play if we added paying options, if we can't get enough players when the game is completely free?
I'm sick of the wand hunt on my current. Sick of preps in general, actually. Solution is obviously a Villager.
Anyone want to give some tips on getting that first mage kill? I don't want to play a pincer svirf and assassin is tempting, but I figure if I'm cabaling with Thera's greatest warriors I should be a warrior. I play mages, a lot of mages, and rule number one for al
I end up eating six pk's in one login or something and rage deleting. Except I quit, log back in, and then delete to avoid an actual rage deletion that I can take back, that's how enraged I get. ;)
Having mana left after you spell up can be an issue. What can help is knowing who you're going to fight, and their capabilities. If that guy has no way of disarming you, or he has never even tried before, then skip spiderhands.
I also try to have a "mana" set that I wear, slow, sleep and then spell up, and then replace with my hp/dam/saves gear.
Accelerate actually improves the victim's offense, not their defense. Try casting accelerate and petrify on a healer or paladin or wanded up mage, then when they pass out from the move loss, open up with that scroll that casts level 50 energy drain three times.
Disrupt organ is more for the side effects then the damage. Among others, they might not be able to eat, or cast spells.
