I'm asking if you can be so good at pursuing or have some skill that the character fleeing doesn't have time to get over their lag before you run in and hit them again?
I got fourth attack, bro. Plus no one's strength or dex is going to be very high once those maledicts start stacking. While we're on the subject though, are all hand to hand skills dex based or what? And by pummel being dex based are you saying that about the number of hits or the accuracy or the frequency of the dazing effect?
Cause if we're rockin' in the current 'meta' that is CF. Dex based, maledicting classes are in. I'm no vet, but I don't know of a skill that straight up reduces your damage roll. I mean even if they get all that crap on you, you can still hit them with some kind of damage, you know. So with the dwarf Hp and soul maybe you can use their low elfish con gains against
Dwarf hand to hand (primary), flail/whip chilling embrace, soul of the mountain
Gear for all hit roll and hp. Just outlast these dexi guys with the punches.
Oh you dropped my strength by 20? Well you can't make me drop my fists!(yet)
He's posting the logs of his fights, a lot of which are with the Emperor, and people are drawing certain conclusions from their own observations. I mean he's not editing the logs, right? And what, is he not supposed to post them? Don't know about you but I like reading logs of fights. That's just me though.
So, apparently counting on those throws and all that wrist-shoulder cracking stuff to fail is off the table. Can assassins do that crap to you if you're diminished?
I mean healers can't cast flying anymore, am I right? They nerfed paladin wrath. Druids can't transmute metal to wood, ok.
So I mean, what more do you want them to do?
I never understood Scarab doctrine. So everyone is an asshole deep down and is blinded by morality, right? Is that it? That logic may work for the real world, but doesn't the 'detect whatever ethos spell' completely destroy the logic. I mean thera is a world with divine entities that set objective morale standards. So the argument caves in. "You are selfish and evil on
Dude was getting tripped, but maybe fleeing to quaff a flying potion(thanks to the super-important healer nerf) and return to help not getting lagged the whole time, maybe?
That seems like the very definition of a balance issue when the strategy to fighting him isn't 'use this prep or use this skill', it's "hide and wait for him to log off".
There's either like 7-10 people on or there's like 20ish and 2/3rds of them are evil heros. It's gotta be tough staying positive looking at all that hate.
Also, it seems like dexiness is kinda ridiculous now. When I played a lot you just saw fire giants all over the place and now it's all duegar and drow, and elfs playing the melee classes. Maybe i'm missing something
So I'm sure there's a post about it somewhere but my searching skill suck so I had some questions about the wisdom stat.
1. Does wisdom affect mana regen more than intelligence?
2. Does wisdom affect saves more than int , if at all?
3. Does wisdom affect your spells success rate?
So I'm writing this to ask what your experience has been currently with getting a f@#king response from an imm. I guess if my experience is different then I can change my prays/notes etc. I don't want to sound like I feel like i'm entitled to immteration but damn I can't get anything for like the past 80 hours of playing. At this point I would be happy with a "stop pra
I understand that getting beat down is infuriating at times, but it was two against one, man. Even if it wasn't two against one, he's the Emperor and you're a squire. You're not supposed to be able to beat him. I'm not saying anything about the tactics or that it's impossible to beat him but it's just weird because it seems to me that you think you should hav
So what are some things that healers do that make them good/decent rather than mediocre/ terrible? Are there practices that anyone can think of that sets certain ones apart?
Also, are there things that healers do that is just wrong or infuriates you?
This game requires to much than people are willing to give nowadays. You need to be a special type of nerd to enjoy this game and I think that type of nerd is a rare specimen these days. The problem isn't in the game. The problem is that the characteristics that are required to enjoy this experience are not cultivated as much in today's society. It's more about graphics and acce
"It had nothing to do with my role and I was pissed that he killed me at my pit."
I mean just admit it. We know what was going on in the log. Anyone can see that so why would you appear even more foolish by trying to blame that stupid behavior on your role?
Dude, honestly, I understand what you were trying for...at least I think I see was you were trying to do. I think that Fortress needs competent people bitching out the incompetent people in order to help them understand how not to be "meat" for the enemy.
Goodie RP in no way has to be polite. You can make a character that is a real hard ass and still be good. As someone who is sti
