Re: Why chilling?

Cause if we're rockin' in the current 'meta' that is CF. Dex based, maledicting classes are in. I'm no vet, but I don't know of a skill that straight up reduces your damage roll. I mean even if they get all that crap on you, you can still hit them with some kind of damage, you know. So with the dwarf Hp and soul maybe you can use their low elfish con gains against them. And Yes. Hit roll all day, son!

Alright, I got it.

Go village berserker

Quas November 01, 2016 02:03PM

No you don't

badboy November 01, 2016 12:30PM

Not quite correct

Jarmel November 01, 2016 03:17PM

No fires. Take hpm on that build and it gives you all options that hth deprives you. (n/t)

Rhyaldrin November 02, 2016 12:44AM

h2h parry doesn't suck.

Murphy November 01, 2016 03:41PM

Re: h2h parry doesn't suck.

Jarmel November 01, 2016 04:56PM

I think the hand skills might be unique

Quas November 01, 2016 04:47PM

This. Totally right about HTH being tanky once you master every other weapon skill. NT

Sam November 01, 2016 04:13PM

Felar hand-to-hand specialists have a truly unique charm.

GoldenApple November 02, 2016 12:23AM

And then your main enemy turns out to be a porcupine. (n/t)

Murphy November 02, 2016 07:28AM

Also worth noting that this build utterly destroys in the early to middle pk ranges.

Rhyaldrin November 02, 2016 12:41AM

I wonder

Kstatida November 02, 2016 12:43AM

Yeah it's higher. Like someone said above they are av 31 at hero.

Rhyaldrin November 02, 2016 12:45AM

Always thought a felar HTH/Spear Whispers/Riddle defender would be a bitch to fight in any long drawn out battle. NT

Sam November 02, 2016 12:27AM

A Felar H2H/spear spec arguably gets the most out of the Fires of Adversity legacy of any warrior.

GoldenApple November 02, 2016 02:19AM

Quas did a similar build recently

Kstatida November 02, 2016 01:51AM

dagger/spear calming/whispers defender

Quas November 02, 2016 07:10AM

The most..boring..build..ever..

dhargor November 02, 2016 01:31AM

Ur doin it wrong. (n/t)

Murphy November 02, 2016 07:33AM

Didn't you play Kjrhor? Felar assassin Empire with a lot of PKs several years back (n/t)

starbright November 02, 2016 03:24AM

Yep, the assassinate monkey

dhargor November 02, 2016 04:34AM

This

Kstatida November 02, 2016 04:48AM

Not so challenging

daurwyn(VIP) November 06, 2016 07:08AM

I dare you try and master assassinate in today's CF

Kstatida November 06, 2016 07:11AM

Unfortunately that is how everyone is dealing with hiders now. Log in with friends or quit. n/t

jalim November 06, 2016 07:13AM

People are WAY to easily triggered. OHH MY GOD THERES SOMEONE I CAN'T SEE, I QUIT. (n/t)

Frosty November 06, 2016 07:41AM

Because fuck them. (n/t)

Murphy November 06, 2016 10:14AM

No. n/t

jalim November 06, 2016 07:09AM

Knowledge + patience + balls. NT

Sam November 02, 2016 10:48AM

That's for sure, his assassinate on Morlox (sp?) in Maethian was pretty bad ass, since we kept fighting him there. (n/t)

bloodmoon November 02, 2016 06:18PM

He did. He's also still mad I killed that character :) NT

Sam November 02, 2016 03:24AM

Nice try, but I don't :( n/t

dhargor November 02, 2016 04:28AM

That's cool

Navarone November 01, 2016 01:56PM

Why chilling?

Doesn't hit roll make you hit more? (n/t)

Navarone November 01, 2016 02:26PM

It helps to a degree, however

Murphy November 01, 2016 02:41PM

Cf and hit roll are based on the D&D THAC0 system

Quas November 01, 2016 03:00PM

Wait so hit roll isn't checked to see if your hit is parried, dogded etc? (n/t)

Navarone November 01, 2016 03:18PM

Imho hitroll helps a lot against shield users

daurwyn(VIP) November 06, 2016 07:11AM

Thing is, it should be REALLY high

Kstatida November 06, 2016 07:12AM

Courtesy of recent changes, hitroll does provide a minor bonus to punch through defenses. Minor bonus.

Murphy November 01, 2016 03:30PM

Unless you fight heavy war priest shaman a lot you still don't get much mileage from having more than bless/warcry at hero.

Quas November 01, 2016 04:43PM

Basically, if you have 20+ you'll be fine. NT

Sam November 01, 2016 04:53PM

This. (n/t)

Murphy November 01, 2016 07:20PM

Soul/Fires and you've got a winner

Demtok November 01, 2016 10:35AM

Can dwarves get counterpunch? It has a dex requirement. (n/t)

Calion November 01, 2016 12:06PM

Oh right, that would probably suck as a dwarf with 18 dex (n/t)

Demtok November 01, 2016 12:50PM

Has anyone ever confirmed if fires effects dodge AND parry? It's only defenses that get bosted, right? (n/t)

Frosty November 01, 2016 10:44AM

Re: Has anyone ever confirmed if fires effects dodge AND parry? It's only defenses that get bosted, right?

Jarmel November 01, 2016 03:35PM

It affects both

Quas November 01, 2016 04:39PM

Many thanks for the info. (n/t)

Frosty November 01, 2016 03:54PM

Increases beard length as well (n/t)
