One point I thikn many people miss is that level sitting needs to be measured in hours of gameplay, not RL months/weeks. I think I level sat for ages with Djabree at some point, but that was because I was too busy with work so I was only loggin in to prevent the autodelete. >> If the answer is yes, then you play that way because you like middle ranks >> if the asnwer is no, then yby Flipside Oreo - Main Board

I've always done that - both with outlanders and ragers. If I ever play a mage, I'll do the same (I have no proof but I'm confident that it's very much doable). Why? 1) I don't think the game is more fun at hero. It's too ganky there. ' 2) If you power level, you can't do anything but level because your character will suck against his range. If you think the game is only a proper game at hero, then what's the point in having levels at all (from your perspective)? A very strong reason level sitting ragers do so well in mid ranks against mages is that those mages just try to power level to hero to get to their sweet spot (powergaming), and thus their skills / eq / preps suck at low/mid ranks and they get raped. Here's a pretty fun promotion that I designed. It's free to play, and we are paying out $50k in prizes (EPT package for first prize). I think it would work well with the cf poker crowd: Promotion details: That page is for redkings.com, but you can play it from any Ongame Network site. But not otherwise. It's generally very hard to land slow on a well geared rager with spellbane up. Here Malakhi was wearing sort of crappy armor, and for whatever reason didn't wield his sacrificial daggers which would've given another -20 svs. Plus Bambizlo was very well geared with abs. edit: though I do think muters are too survivable at higher ranksby Flipside Oreo - Log Board
