I am kind of mixed on how hard it should be to get into Battle. On the one hand (and I think I stole this from someone else in the forums), as a player I want to have fun and I want my fellow players to have fun. So if that means a quick and easy process to get into cabals so be it. Roll up, hit the interview hard, and get in. Whoever was posting was talking about logging in and hitting people wi

reop: Sup homie. I am your homie
hep: true lmfao
reop: I think I might go fight evil. What you think?
hep: not dressed like that you're not! I don't care if you have under 20 titles you need a full set of hero level gear!
reop: for true?
hep: preach!
reop: Cool
To my knowledge neither of us are deleted. I don't mind logs of me while still alive, mostly because I am a super cool dude both in game and on these here forums. Furthermore, think I asked an AP related question regarding edges earlier and joked about outing myself. Thanks for looking out though.
I was under the impression you got better at assassinate for every successful assassinate. I simply assume that with a skill bonus you might get more than a single improvement. I guess that tells you how much I assassinate with my assassins.
Bro! I was so pissed at this. I was mad at myself. I knew you were on. I was working on excision and wands in the Hamsah guild even though I was assigned to Seantryn at the time. Reflecting on it now, I was probably in the guild hall long enough for you to get two dozen stalks. What makes this worse? I could have gone out over the ocean back to Seantryn. I could have eaten the golden pill in my i
How do outlanders build commerce XP? Where do they practice and train? Where are healers they can use? I am thinking about a role which would very much limit interactions with cities. However, commerce XP seems to be a large part of edge points now. How do you reconcile a role and roleplay which it heavy anti city and pro nature with building commerce and doing other things you need to do? I am n
Hello again! What factors affect a successful cleave? Are they strength, cleave skill, weight of weapon, and luck? Does this make the "lucky" edge worthwhile? If I intend to go around cleaving I see does this make the malicious intent edge also worthwhile?
Please help me with my.....cleavage!
I believe you are accurate in your assessment. My brother and I both play and he is murderous and he is damned good. I struggle to make myself play aggressively. He kills groups of three. Whenever I try to gank with a group of three I am the one who gets killed :) I guess I feel that getting to 51 with full constitution is an important goal.
I also wonder if my ship has sailed because there
In regards to playerkilling is a character's equipment most important, skill level most important, or gear most important? Or am I missing the boat and preps are the most important thing?
I am sure you are right. But I never play lightwalkers. Almost never. So when I go to the keep from my point of view I am alone fighting my way past polearm spec skeleton warriors! If I do ever play a lightwalker I will keep this in mind.
Hello. Here are the areas I can think of off the top of my head.
Galadon graveyard
Crypts under Arkham
Mauseluem (NW corner Galadon GY)
Keep of Barovia
Eil Sherea
Skeletons on Mountain North of Darsylon (Caladryl?)
I think the spirits under the sea of Despair might be undead also, but I am not sure. I know a necromancers disruption hits something down there. Also note I did not put lev
I agree with this it IS tough man. I just get bored and want to try something else quite often. I played Cardric and I know part of the reason I failed the quest was trying the Mummy quest at something like 172 hours. I was just thinking I had to do something new or different or the character would lose attraction for me. One thing that helps me is to play an alternate character for short times f
Hello friends. I need advice on fire giant AP edges. What really works? I have been told by asking the guildmaster for prereqs I cannot get slasher, merciless ambidexterity, or eye of the butcher. Those are the ones I was excited to check out. Synergy of suffering seems like it might be all right but lashes of the slave was dex based ( I thought) and that is a prereq there. I also understand that
1. To what purpose? Why do you want to see more full looting? What's the point?
2. When there were 160 players on 15 years ago getting fulled was easier to deal with because you would often find someone else's corpse close by to take all their stuff.
3. Hard to get gear is harder to get because with limited numbers you can't always put together groups to beat Dern. Or to beat
I was wondering if it was something like that because I am up over 200 kills. Unfortunately I only know the two paths. That's 4 of them. Yes. my dumb ass has been through the 2 paths I know 52 times each. 52 piles of scout gear just sitting there.
There is an option to hire yourself out to the Jaette in Udgaard for a quest. I have been running the quest and have killed over 200. Have I not killed enough or am I doing something else wrong. I know this is kind of questy but I am trying to get info without giving away too much. Does anyone know how many to kill or if I need to do something besides kill a certain number? Thanks for the help.
enjoyed working with you with my current character (who shall remain nameless for the time being). I thought you were a consistent and reliable group mate.
I'm just a dude. I am not a tribunal. Not even a cop IRL. And I don't see how it's preassumption please see the opening thread for this topic. The bias was already there. I have also stated I played 21-24 hours a week and never saw these things you claim. I think Qinsa was playing something on the order of 100 hours per week. There's some wiggle room indeed.

I think thieves used to be able to make counterfeit items so that when you bought them from a random Galadon auction they would turn to dust.

Just want to verify a few things
1) Qinsa flagged/attacked you four times in a way that was inappropriate and you did nothing until you noticed that others were getting the same treatment in forums?
a) Did you consider logging after the 2nd or 3rd show of shady behavior? It is possible you can't. My dusty old laptop might actually fall apart if I tried logging.
2) You think that a
Yes, you are correct. But if he can see 17 of 18 or 4 of 7 then he does not know for sure.
I sure did not know for sure all the time. I could not see all even as an anti with vigilance.
I am curious, if a player were to smack you up ruthlessly, take all your stuff (as Qinsa was doing to people at the end of things) is your first reaction to check the count command?
I know that when I wa
All right - let me ask you this, please. You say he was breaking laws and running rampant throughout the mud for two months or however long this character played, right? Well, then why did the powers that be see fit to promote him to Provost over Krisnif or Annkhu who had been around longer? Why was he allowed to allegedly run rampant breaking laws as provost for like 6 weeks of his two months or
I am not the only one being rational. There have been many many excellent posts under here which have been thoughtful and rational. There are also people who are still writing from a sense of hurt or anger. Can't you see it bleed through their writing?
If you cannot see that, maybe you're seeing signs or living in a cut off village with no real outside contact. :)

I have always been under the impression that villagers do not like using mercenaries and would look down upon anyone who used a mercenary. As such, an item, whether magical or not, which essentially generates three mercenaries or bodyguards or servants or whatever you would want to call them seems like it would be anathema to Villager thinking. I have played villagers but really don't prefer
I am not assuming anything. I am saying I play 3-4 hours a day and never observed this behavior.
I am also not assuming the statements in this post because I know Qinsa. I talk to him regularly. My assumption is that this is not uncommon and lots of us know each other. He and I have talked about these things as they happened. I am not getting second hand information after the fact from someone
lemme check..count says who is wanted? Hrmm. Didn't last time I tried it. But because you are adamant in this I will try again. You can't just admit you did not have all the facts in a case with moving parts? C'mon. I did say that I have never seen him regear or rank or gather wealth with guards. It is possible he might have done those things. But I was playing 21-30 hours a week a
