do people do this.

"So, before myself or the Marshall will speak with you. We ask that you find
the support of at least four Squires or Scribes, or two Maran or Acolyte.
Hopeful squires will be required to have proven themselves in battle, and
must be able to rearm themselves if need be."
Four people... seriously? With the lower player numbers I w
This problem exists for those classes which have no way to initiate combat with a damage dealing strike(not including murder obviously). Warriors in particular. I'm not saying I couldn't level up or whatever to beat this tactic I know what to do. I'm saying that using it is just plain cheap. If you are a sub 20 war you really have no other way to combat this tactic. Sure there is a
In my experience with this happening to me 3-4 times they have never failed enough times for them to not beat the murder lag. Believe me I had a bash queued up and ready each time.
It is a waste of both players time. Hence why I said it usually just makes people walk away. Mages aren't as much a problem as melee... melee classes actually tend to evade that first hit a lot and thus no one gets damaged. I experienced one of these people fairly recently against an assassin I had ranks on and I literally spent 10 mins tryin to kill the bastard because he just kept resting.
Edit: I decided to put text in here because do you really think for a minute I didn't consider additional starting moves? Seriously? If I had pincer of course I would use it. I see this mainly in the lowbie ranks and it is ridiculous because they know there is nothing you can do but spam murder while they almost always dodge/parry/whatever that single attack you get before they flee and rest
You're sub 20 and you have no additional options besides murder. You hit murder, he dodges or whatever and immediately flees and rests. Rinse and repeat. This is all he does. I have seen it happen too many times. There is little you can do but walk away at that point. You don't have any starting moves that do any damage that might force him to do something else barring something like ch
Then trip and bash should still work since you are crouching. Personally I think they should alter the skills to allow them to work on targets that are resting or sitting. Or maybe just resting, but put a 5 sec combat time on sit so you can't use it right after being attacked to avoid trip and bash. The only reason it works at all is because there are only 3 states a character can be in. Sta
It's not a tactic. It's an abuse of mechanics that should go against almost any chars RP. Unless you want to RP running one room away and sitting down to cry like a bitch every time someone attacks you.

8. Rest. This is very powerful skill. You can't trip or bash a resting person. Use it.
While this is a valid option and technically not against the rules it's a bitch move. It always leaves a sour taste in my mouth when I see a char do it constantly. I go out of my way to make sure that char gets multikilled if at all possible. It's exploiting game mechanics just to av
It reminded me of the old days. Nice group battles with lots of deaths and pretty much all gear being returned so it could be repeated in 15 mins. Well done to all involved. Wish I was.
I have refreshed it for the most part. There are a couple new places I'm not as familiar with as I would like, but most everything has come back. I've had one to hero ranks and there honestly wasn't much to do and my forms sucked so I deleted. I've been on a warrior kick lately tryin out a few things. Really not a lot has changed and I am back to my winning ways. My problem is
I probably only had a couple chars that would of had PBFs. They weren't around back then. Hentogi is one that would have one, but was never paid for. He wasn't a pk char tho so I didn't list him. Poisoner thief Qaledus tat. Think he was like 10-2. Legedri was pre-PBF, but the graveyard used to show pk ratio back then and he was 76%. Not great, but not horrible for a villager. I thi
Your other handle was Elte right? If so look back 5+ years ago and see who was answering your noob questions. If that's not you then I'll have to see who I can dredge up. Most of my chars were pre PBF and 95% of their names are forgotten. I can remember Legedri.. he was pretty damned successful. Jafel obviously, but he is over 10 years ago. Let me go back and see what I can drum up.. no
If I had a target that was substantially easier than another I would kill them first 10 times out of 10. Not because of pk ratio, but because it is the smart thing to do. It could even the odds or in some cases give you better odds. If nothing else it gives you one less person to worry about for about 15 mins.
As for tough fights, you are the biggest prep whore of all. Whom I might add always
He erased years of work that weren't his. I never really had much of a problem with him until now. He needs a boot up the ass to show him he can't just do whatever he wants with no repercussions.
From what I see a lot of imms who traditionally are more role/RP driven have been dormant as of late. I know it has taken me longer to get role exp the past few months and that coincides with a decrease in playtime for imms such as Iunna, Nel, Grobbak and now probably Nep and his wife. Recovery from the purge has taken time from other imms as well so I'm guessing (and hoping) that is a large
The poison thief had some different vials this would have been over a lot sooner. I'm tempted to roll another poison thief to show what they are capable of. I had a collection of vials that used different dam types and would hit for eradicates+ on non vuln targets.

I don't play paladins so I can't comment on that, but having played goodie wars I strongly feel they are at a disadvantage to a neutral or evil war. Just based on what they can kill. Neutral mobs are essentially off limits and that takes away a large amount of gear you can get. Killing neutral guild guards to get at someone is a no no. Not to mention making barter more difficult since y
The most important aspect is it is the only top tier water form that can go on land(that I know of). I've tried water forms and to be honest even in the water they pretty much blow. They have some small utility here and there, but really is more gimicky than anything. It seems like they have been toned down a lot, so much that I would never take water again.
