First time posting a log. Obviously screwed it up. There is a link in there at the top you can click at. I thought it would post the contents of the link and my comments below.
The comments:
Just another completely unwinnable fight in a long list. This newbie POS orc is completely useless so far. Tell me all you want about using fallback and spinebreak and drink skins when every single fight
Oh, having very briefly played an assassin recently I had always assumed thief hide was the same. I also forgot I could check the help files from the web site. Thanks a lot.
The concept has me pumped, but the graphics are a bit of a turn off. The levels are just goofy as shit. Everything that is shadowed even a little bit is pitch black. There was ONE clip in that whole video that didn't seem like it was way too dark (even scenes that were well lit). Who knows maybe just the trailer was bad but the game won't be so dark. I do really dig the idea of bitch bl
I have a feeling this question is really stupid. Why do you give different avoiding techniques for assassins and thieves? Does thief hide work differently than assassin? Why wouldn't you need to use water to avoid a thief?
Starting this Thursday I'll be visiting my parents 6 times zones away in Hawaii for 2 weeks. I'll be bringing my laptop and likely to play at least a couple short sessions during the quiet evening hours, but certainly reduced play time and very different time zone. I'm no leader, nor even a hero yet so I'm of very little importance, but would it be proper to somehow tell the f
I feel like at least some of this stems from the hyper-cliched Battle RPs they seem to require (or at least did in the past). About 5 years ago (before my extended break) I made a Battle assassin who I was trying to RP essentially as the anti-mage version of a racist.
No "mages killed my parents" cliche bullshit. No "YOU KILLED MY BROTHER YOU BASTARD!" just cool, calm, cal
All legit as far as I'm concerned (that's the beauty of opinion, it is always legit as long as you can explain it), but it seems like your explanation means that Sander's does not, in fact, align most closely with your own beliefs.
Well man, if you care to know I haven't played in 3 years... Seems like an odd coincidence with not posting in three years doesn't it? I've made posts asking questions about really mundane newb-ass shit cause, well, I've been gone for 3 years so I don't remember a god damn thing.
I happen to also be an engineer IRL so when I play games I have a tendency to want to und
I have no problem shrugging it off and trucking on, but what disturbs me is knowing this dude now thinks I'm colluding with others outside of game so he prolly thinks I'm way more experienced than I am, and also deserving of punishing. Something tells me he'll be coming for my ass on what I assume is one of his many characters. Oh well, thus is CF.
So I've just returned to the game after some years off, and I'm putzing around using self-acquirable gear for the most part when it dawns on me that 50-75% of the people I see in my level range are rocking piles of hero gear so finally I decide to do something about it.
I ask a hero guy who'd been friendly in the past if he wanted to kill a dragon for some gold. Oddly he decline
Any chance you could tell me where these places are? I know of a common level 15 spot to train defenses but they auto aggro'd and whomped me way too hard (could only last 5-10 risky rounds) so I made little progress there and leveled beyond it. I've asked all kinds of people IC for advice on where to practice stuff, but nobody gives me any clues and the world is just way too large to ex
I have absolutely no deep knowledge of the game, but as an engineer I'd venture a guess that Arials are kinda heavy compared to birds: their wings are strong enough for leaps, hops, flutters, and floats, but not for flying high. I got this imagery from when I was reading the help file for caltraps:
"Even flying people are damaged by the caltraps as they must periodically touch the g
Is blood from higher level elves better/more effective than that from lower? Can I just go raid the vale or other low level elves and be set for a while?
