I got my first version of the "Ultimate sniper" book while in a convalescent unit after having a knee blow out. One of the other guys there, well, he had trouble remembering to shine his boots. Got in alot of trouble for it.

one friday evening inspection, to see if we could go out on a 2 day pass, I noticed his boots were crap, so I took two of my extra pairs and put them by his bunk and hid his boots.

he passed, and gave me 2 ps2 games and that ultimate sniper book.

I know paladin press has it's own special reputation, admittedly mostly earned, but that doesn't change the fact that if you are interested in learning how to hit the Long Shot, those books I mentioned will help you get there more than any others I know of.

For "sniper" rounds, a .308, .30-30/.3006, or even a .270 would be ideal...
