I have no problem with flaws being noticed and being brought to the staff's attention, but unfortunately, the expectations are usually unrealistic. Some players want changes made immediately based on the information presented in their posts, and are unwilling to listen to explanations or wait for anyone to observe and make a logical determination as to what needs to change. These are the folks I call whiners, because they can't see beyond their own player's POV.
I personally hate deathblow. Every warrior, thief, and assassin I've ever played has died to deathblow at some point or another in their lives to this skill. Why does it work on non-mages? Does the sight of a warrior that MIGHT be a mage fill the berserker with such fury that he/she strikes a deathblow? I think it's silly and should only work on mages. The skill hasn't been changed and likely isn't going to. And at the end of the day, should I continue groaning about it or accept that my POV (having never played a villlager) doesn't take into account the fact that villagers can't use potions like my character can?
The point is, even when you think you see the whole forest, you're still only seeing a few trees. Sometimes you're right, and things do get changed. Sometimes you're wrong, and nothing happens. When nothing happens, I urge you to take a closer look and see why or why not.
And stop being an ass.
