Go for direct damage ASAP:
e.g.
Drum, Flurry, Pincer, Overhead
Maybe hit a boneshatter or something first. But if he's decked, most forms of malediction isn't going to do anything to them.

It's not a good matchup, esp if the STSF warrior has any form of dam redux
The best strategy is to drop his HP ASAP and hope he either 1) stays and dies or 2) runs and doesn't come back.

Strats against STSF

Reposting my STSF breakdown. Hopefully this helps you out. Primary focuses on warrior v warrior but also includes other class matchups at the end.

TheShamanman March 11, 2017 07:02AM

Also, Laesron (HTH/Polearm) killed 2 STSF Delfs. Maran Polearm is actually one of the strongest counters to STSF.

Iron/Mithril warcry flurry (n/t)

Kstatida March 11, 2017 11:23AM

If this gets evaded...you likely die before you can successfully flee (unless you have Enigma). Or Flow evaded. Or parry anything parried :) NT

Sam March 11, 2017 12:30PM

sword vs pole

TheShamanman March 12, 2017 08:04AM

Here's my data on it. My swords specs put up a fight against you, but you ate my pol specs like a hungry shark. CHOMP!

Frosty March 12, 2017 11:23AM

So much truth. Playstyle agreeing with build is worth a lot. (n/t)

TheShamanman March 12, 2017 12:07PM

What if charge and slice get avoided? If it lands, you might win. If it gets evaded/stsfed/flowed/parried you lose. Rocket science! (n/t)

Frosty March 11, 2017 12:41PM

Not really. Polearm defends very well against sword/dagger, plus you will have less attacks so they can't conceal/riposte you into oblivion. NT

Sam March 11, 2017 01:05PM

Re: you will have less attacks

Murphy March 12, 2017 06:24AM

Defense shmeefence, if you miss you skills you still die just the same. You might have slightly better chances of escaping but also less chance of landing the kill. Pick your poison, alchemy = science! (n/t)

Frosty March 11, 2017 01:59PM

Thunderlance deathblow prog ftw! NT

Sam March 11, 2017 03:17PM

disarm;cackle (n/t)

Frosty March 11, 2017 03:49PM

This is true. (n/t)

Frosty March 11, 2017 11:59AM

One tiny correction! STSF cutoff lags, so they actually can lag you pretty well if you can't recall in combat. NT

Sam March 11, 2017 10:40AM

I mean yeah but only if you're trying to flee. In combat they can't. (n/t)

TheShamanman March 11, 2017 11:07AM

Just saying you need razor-sharp reflexes (or a super good understanding of the game) to know exactly when to bail. NT

Sam March 11, 2017 12:31PM

Or you could get the claw extensions instead for the 8-10 hp. n/t

jalim March 11, 2017 01:01PM

LOL, you funny. Steady hand, number 1. ;) (n/t)

Frosty March 11, 2017 02:01PM

*gives Jalim a "good idea" sticker* NT

Sam March 11, 2017 01:06PM

This is really good advice, the shamanman knows what he's talking about (n/t)

starbright March 11, 2017 10:24AM

The only GOOD matchup I've found for STSF builds is a....porcupine. (n/t)

saagkri March 05, 2017 04:52AM

ABS orangutan did alright.

Murphy March 05, 2017 05:04AM

You have only one winning strategy against STSF

Misinfo - blind doesn't stop STSF or Flow

Tadam March 06, 2017 04:54PM

Might slow it down, though. (n/t)

Murphy March 06, 2017 05:11PM

You can't lead a bliind horse to water. (n/t)
