The problem with your logic is that you replied to me.

Except with class skills. Remember, I was Ghek, the guy who didn't use preps 90% of the time? But because I choose not too doesn't mean Imma come down on other people who do. If they want to spend 150-200 of their char hours getting preps out of a 500-600 hour character, then let them. If they win that one fight because of it, good for them. They will run out of preps at some point and they will go hunt for those preps again and then that's when you ruthlessly wait and murder them maliciously. I've been in many fights where someone prepared and they still lost when I wasn't prepped. It's called RNG for a reason and sometimes RNG is just not on your side.
So what you're saying is:
- Newbie BooHooLooHoo can't win the fight without preps
- Newbie BooHooLooHoo should spend countless hours learning about all prep locations
- Newbie BooHooLooHoo can then wait until they've been murdered four times and the other players run out of preps to murder them with
- Newbie BooHooLooHoo now has the opportunity to go hunt all of the prep locations until they happen to cross paths with one of their murderers gathering those preps
- Newbie BooHooLooHoo can now hope they get to their opponent before he's gathered the preps in that area and try to have a fair fight
That doesn't sound reasonable to me.

When you do that, and you make Vet's bitter by taking away what they know, then they become reluctant to share any hidden knowledge they have. Yes, there are a few power gamey types that just want to be the best a pk, but usually people like Glik are disliked by the majority of the CF because he has no other talent than to pk and then shit talk. Ignore is great, quiet is great and you can avoid them easily. I can tell you now, even as an outlander without coins, getting a return and teleport potion is easy to do for most chars 25 and up, and if you use gold, that much more simple.
I'm sorry, am I making vets bitter? I'll be sure to worry about that as soon as the vets stop already being bitter despite not having preps taken away from them. The most bitter people in all of CF are the vets. I'm beginning to think there's a relationship between years spent in the game and bitterness, but I haven't quite worked the math out yet.
