You can always turn mana into hp (heal/sanc).

A paladin especially a shield paladin with no mana is a dead paladin. And it’s not just about how much your max is, how fast you regenerate it is really important to having it.

You are still going to want to use wrath for damage, even at 2 rounds instead of 1 it still is hands down your best bet. And elf wrath naturally >= storm wrath plus essence of retribution.


If you want to be mean in pve then aim for the charity virtue. You double your healing and can sanc others. For PvP you want fortitude to make your melee damage potential closer to that of a warrior.
