Personally i like the adrenaline of getting beat all the time in pk. what about giving players an option to be" PK free" or just "RP" until say 40 or so? A choice made at level 1 that prevents them from getting involved in the newb bashing? Can't loot them if they die to mobs. Give them time to get familiar with the world. They will read these boards and get interested in joining the PK side of CF. This is coming from someone who has maybe put in 800 hours since 2000. Granted it's a tough game to get into when you're re gearing all the time.

Rolled a char last week and having fun so far.. might be that i've gotten so old/patient since my first attempts.
