I have lots of ooc friends, and I talk to a few other players here on a regular basis. But I don't think that it has EVER saved my ass in PK, or gotten anyone else killed. But then again those I talk with are (In my eyes) good guys who want to keep the game free of "ooc relations" in the sense that we talk and discuss stuff. Not any spoon feeding (hell I'd know a shit load of stuff if there was... hehe) but like different theories on char setups mostly. RP thoughts and what not. Brag about our awesome sets (now that's just me since I rarely get to keep them for more than a few hours...)

No, can't say that my ooc connections have done THAT much for me ingame. Though I think it has helped my learning curve a great deal though as I've learned how game mechanics works a bit faster. Like having people explain how for example parry works (Just an example, I know it's in the defence FAQ of Diku.)

I think MOST ooc connections are like that, but there sure as hell are a few bad nuts who makes it shitty.

7.5 years ago when I first played here I was one of those, but that just got me in trouble as one can read in Amberions goodbye by Shokai. hehe (Kept slipping ooc and talking swedish with an RL friends via tells.. hehe)
